J. Paul McNamara, Miami ’29, received an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws at the spring commencement at Miami University. He is the senior member of the Columbus, Ohio, law firm of McNamara and McNamara, former chairman of Miami’s board of trustees and former president of its alumni association. He has served as vice president of Delta Upsilon Fraternity since 1969 and as a trustee and secretary of the D U Educational Foundation since 1949. In 1974, he received the distinguished alumnus award of the Ohio State College of Law.
