Leadership Conference and Convention Report
The conclusion of Thursday wcre meetings of special, and standing convention committees. The membership and advisors were as follows: Resolutions Committee chaired by Samuel A. Flax, Georgia Tech ’78, with Mark R. Anderson, Miami ’77; Gregory C. Mueth, Bradley ’77; John F. Orrik, Technology ’78; Kevin T. Radell, Swarthmore ’77, Wendell L. Raymond Vintilla, Miami ’50, lives in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, where he is vice president for administrative services and a member of the board of directors of the Orinoco Mining Co., and also is technical adviser to the government of Venezuela for personnel and labor matters relating to the mining industry. He recently became a member of the Presidents Club “honor society,” in recognition of his generous support of Miami University.
Harry H. Voight, Miami ’53, has been appointed to a second two-year term as a member of the Administrative Conference of the United States, which is an independent federal agency created to study all aspects of the administrative process in executive and independent federal agencies and to develop specific recommendations for improvements. He is a lawyer with the firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby & MacRae in Washington, D.C.
